Membership

Membership is open to any individual professional providing service to infants, young children and their families; students; parents of infants and young children at risk for, or having delays in development; and persons interested in promoting the optimal development of infants, young children and their families. All new members are contacted by a Board member whose responsibilities include voicing members' concerns at OAICD board meetings, and organizing area in-services and workshops. Please select the membership you wish to apply for by clicking on the link for that membership type. All prices are in Canadian funds.

Individual Membership 

Ontario Membership - $55.00 Includes voting privileges in Ontario, OAICD Newsletter subscription, OAICD Directory, and reduced fees at OAICD sponsored regional events and Annual Conference  (Student rate $15.00)

Ontario Membership and World Association for Infant Mental Health Affiliation - $190.00 (note new amount) Includes the benefits of Type 1 Membership, plus voting privileges in the WAIMH, subscription for the Infant Mental Health Journal, subscription for the WAIMH Newsletter and members' list, and reduced rates at WAIMH sponsored events.  

Associate Membership - $15.00 Includes such persons as out-of-province professionals involved in Infant Development Programs, and parents whose children are receiving Infant Development services. Includes OAICD Newsletter subscription and reduced rates for some OAICD sponsored events.

Note:  Use your credit card billing address (which is probably your home address) when paying on line, and then use Paypal to pay for your membership.

Program Membership

Provides opportunities for programs, through their co-ordinators to be represented by OAICD and provide input to OAICD's Board of Directors in order for the Board to best represent and advocate on behalf of Infant Development at the Ministry level. Information will be provided to the co-ordinators on a timely basis. Information on Conferences and an OAICD Directory are all provided to the Program Co-ordinator.

  • Over 15 Staff - $100
  • 8 to 15 Staff - $50
  • Less than 8 Staff - $25
  • 1 Staff or Part-Time - $10
