The Ontario Association for Infant and Child Development (OAICD) represents Infant and Child Development Programs and the interests of the dedicated early intervention professionals who provide family-centred services based on research and best practices within the Infant and Child Development Program (ICDP). The OAICD mission is to advocate for, communicate about and educate professionals regarding evidence-based practices in early intervention.
The Ontario Association for Infant and Child Development is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. These Directors currently work in, or have a passion for, early intervention. OAICD’s mission is to promote awareness of ICDP, increase connectivity between members, and support learning opportunities for members. OAICD has a rich history of advocating for members and the children and families they support since 1980.
